The president and executive members of the Young Lawyers Forum – Bayelsa state chapter; an umbrella organization under the Nigerian Bar Association, paid a courtesy visit to Moses Oruaze Dickson in recognition of his works in the Nigerian Legal practice and also to request for his support for the organization in view of their programmes and projects.
The visit which held at the company’s headquarters on Tuesday 19th December, 2017 was led by the president of the Young Lawyers Forum, Bayelsa State – Barrister Harcourt Ekpe and the executive members of the association. “We are impressed with the opportunities you have created for young lawyers in your firm as well as the impact TRIAX Solicitors is creating in the Nigerian Legal practice”, the president said; during the presentation of a Christmas gift to Barrister Moses Oruaze Dickson.
Responding, the Head of chambers; Barrister Jedidiah Nwakpa, thanked the association for giving the firm and its managing solicitor the honour of the courtesy visit and promised to work with them to achieve their objectives of empowering young lawyers in the state.
Elated by the honour given by association, the Managing Solicitor; Moses Oruaze Dickson, thanked every member of the executive council and promised to offer his support and mentorship anytime this is needed of him.
He also encouraged the leadership of the association to remain dedicated to its mission, stating that sacrifice is required to build any organization. “Posterity rewards every of our efforts and actions, so we should build for future generations”, he said.
The meeting ended with group photographs and the presentation of gifts by the firm to the association in support for their forthcoming programmes.
